I believe this to be the key to life.

Each individual is unique. And to me, the first step towards a happy and meaningful life is to know our own unique truth and to claim it. This is possible only through listening to our heart’s voice. The voice of our heart is the truth we hear when we silence all other voices and claim the love for life, people and ourselves.

The greatest supporter which makes the voice of the heart to be heard and followed is a strong mind. How do we make the mind strong? – through reading, writing, listening to music, making music, painting, staring at a painting, blending with art, dancing, doing sports, meditating, being in nature, learning or talking. When we nurture and strengthen the mind in that way, we can recognize the possibilities, we can distinguish what is good vs evil, we can perceive life from a huge window and we can actually make decisions.

Then what is left is acting with belief. Life is never static. Life means change, change will ocur even if we do nothing. Yet, to me, it is foundational to transform our lives into what is good and beautiful by acting with belief towards a specific goal.

My name is Başak Benli. Sun Blend, is the blend -compiled with care- of excerpts, knowledge and creation which gives me insipiration and courage to live up to the ‘standard’ that I  mention above.

In my vision for life, I aspire being strong, sparkling and warm, lightening my World with my light through each day that is born. This is the most foundational reason for Sun Blend to manifest. I want to reach more people every day. My dream is to encourage everyone I reach to be comfortable in expressing their emotions and thoughts, to create their own successes knowing their own worth, using their talents, creativity and knowledge.

In terms of content; you will find excerpts from the books I read, sometimes from the people/authors whom I searched just out of curiosity, sometimes from my favorite blogs. You will also find my own writngs and drawings, the articles, speeches, films, books that I find worth reading/watching and the creations that I see as making a difference in the area of art and music.
