It is not enough to stare up the steps, we must step up the stairs.”

Why People Misunderstand Each Other?

., Inspirational By 02/06/2016 No Comments

First, most people suffer from what psychologists call “the transparency illusion”—the belief that what they feel, desire, and intend is crystal clear to others, even though they have done very little to communicate clearly what is going on inside their minds.
Because the perceived assume they are transparent, they might not spend the time or effort to be as clear and forthcoming about their intentions or emotional states as they could be, giving the perceiver very little information with which to make an accurate judgment.

“Chances are,” Halvorson writes, “how you look when you are slightly frustrated isn’t all that different from how you look when you are a little concerned, confused, disappointed, or nervous.

Cardiac Cycle by Farnaz Rabieijah

., Art By 01/29/2016 No Comments

“No one can deny that Love has reached its critical stage in our present life. This can be either due to the impotency of Love which seems powerless to save man from the darker side of his mind or anything which is destroying or wiping off the name of Love. These days man is recklessly killing and being heartless toward the other, there is an abundance of darkness covering his hearts and egoism and greed have turned him into a blind and senseless human being. Man was created to give Love and be loved and receives his share of Love from the one he has generously given this Love to. And this trend which is similar to the flow of blood in his body gives and prolongs the life of the universe. “Cardiac Cycle” is a title given to a series of events which occurs between the very first moments of the Heart’s contraction to its next. in theses series I have tried to demonstrate the lack of Love in our contemporary world. Heart is the symbol of the origin and the destination of Love. With every beat and pumping the blood to all parts of the body, the Heart sustains life. Blood leads a circular path in man’s body and returns to the Heart and if it is led astray to any part of this sequence, this Blood (Love), comes out of its path and this time it is the Heart which will drive it out.” Farnaz Rabieijah

Todd Parr – It’s Okay To Be Different

., For children By 01/05/2016 No Comments

“It’s okay to have a different nose. It’s okay to have wheels. It’s okay to be a different color. It’s okay to wear glasses. It’s okay to come from a different place. It’s okay to dance by yourself. It’s okay to come in last. It’s okay to talk about your feelings. It’s okay to have an invisible friend. It’s okay to have no hair. It’s okay to be adopted. It’s okay to have different moms or dads. to say no to bad things. It’s okay to be embarassed. It’s okay to have different kinds of friends. It’s okay to be different. You are special and important just beacuse of being who you are.” Todd Parr

Nutrition

., General By 11/02/2015 No Comments

“No matter how spiritual you are, no matter how much self-esteem you have, I doubt that you’d put a Diet Coke in your automobile and expect it to run well. It would gum up the works so badly that your car would be in the shop in no time. Yet our current diet has us putting the most atrocious substances in our bodies and expecting to have good health.

As an automobile needs premium fuel to operate well, our bodies need real, fresh food to maintain health. Packaged food creates dis-ease. There’s no nourishment in it. The body can only handle it for so long. Then, when you do have a problem, you usually take an over-the-counter or prescription drug. This is another form of poison.

However, when you reach the age of 40—after years of eating a high-fat, high-salt, high-sugar, highly processed diet and taking these chemical drugs—your body begins to rebel. It has nothing to do with aging. It’s because the body has become toxic and can’t handle these poisons anymore.

So often when I read your emails and letters, the nutritional problem jumps out at me. It speaks louder than the mental problem. I want to say: “Please stop eating all that junk food and turn to a very simple diet of fresh fruits and vegetables, grains, and protein. Drop the sugar, cut back on wheat products, and eat very small amounts of dairy.” I know that your health can return very quickly when you do this.”
